Nyala ,April 19 (Darfur24) The man accused of beheading his wife in the IDP camp in South Darfur , surrendered to the police in Nyala, capital of South Darfur, late on Monday night.
A senior security source told Darfur 24 that the accused fled the IDP camp after committing the crime and arrived in the state capital, Nyala, and surrendered himself to a police station.
The source stated that the police in Marshing locality will continue their investigations into the crime
Female IDP named Awatif was killed by her husband while she was pregnant in her ninth month at dawn on Monday in her room in the Hashaba camp for the displaced people in Marshing locality, 80 kilometers north of the state capital, Nyala.
