El-fashir, May 5(Darfur24) Two armed men were killed and three soldiers from the armed forces were injured when an army vehicle stationed in the Khazan Tanger area was exposed to an armed ambush near the village of Kolgi in Tawila locality, North Darfur, on Wednesday afternoon.
Local sources told Darfur 24 that a four-wheel drive vehicle carrying five members of the armed forces, coming from the city of Tawila, was ambushed by gunmen on camels ‘back .
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses in the vicinity of Mount Kolgi confirmed that they heard the sound of armed clashes Thursday morning near the military garrison in the Tabit area, while no party had arrived to evacuate the dead bodies until Thursday morning.
