Nyala, September 28(Darfur24) Darfur24 has  learned from executive sources in the government of South Darfur that a government decision has been issued to stop extrajudicial  compromise  for crimes of torture and murder of girls  and women .

The decision was taken  after the killing of a girl and the injury of her sister in Bulbul Dalal Al-Anqra area in Al-Salam locality 36 km west of Nyala, the state capital.

Human rights activist, lawyer Ezzedine Abkar Khamis told Darfur 24 that the murder of the girl in the Bulbul area found global sympathy after it was published on the Darfur24 website, pointing out that dozens of human rights defenders volunteered to escalate the case and follow up through the Public Prosecution and the Court so that the perpetrators do  not go unpunished.

A girl was killed at the hands of her father and brothers – last Friday night – and her sister was transferred to the Nyala Sudanese-Turkish Hospital for treatment, as a result of their torture because of their pregnancy outside wedlock.

Prior to the transfer of the accused to the city of Nyala, attempts were being made by some community leader  in the area to evade the perpetrators by removing the case from the law, but the news published by Darfur24 cut off their road, and expedited the transfer of the accused to the city of Nyala, to complete the legal procedures.
