Khartoum, October 19(Darfur24) The Emir Hausa tribe  in  Blue Nile Region , Muhammad Noureddine, said on Wednesday that the 47,000 families have been displaced since the outbreak of the tribal fighting, of them, about 5,000 families were displaced during the past week.

 

Last July, Blue Nile State witnessed clashes between Hausa and Funj tribes, which resulted in 109 deaths and dozens of injuries, according to the region’s Minister of Health.

 

 On 25 July, the United Nations announced the displacement of more than 31,000 people due to the recent tribal clashes in the Blue Nile.

 

 In an interview with Darfur 24, Noureddine accused the mayors and kings of adopting hate speech, which he considered a main reason for the widening of the fighting.

 

 Noureddine warned of the entry of armed elements into the conflict from outside the components of the region, appealing to the central government to intervene seriously.
