Khartoum, May 9(Darfur24)  On Monday, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR announced that the number of refugees fleeing from Sudan to Chad has increased to more than 26,000.

 

The data of the UNHCR’s online portal, which is dedicated to following up the data of the displaced from Sudan, showed that the total number of arrivals from Sudan to Chad reached 26,249 refugees.

 

The UN refugee agency  indicated that the total number of people fleeing Sudan to neighboring countries, including Egypt, Chad and Ethiopia, amounted to more than 107,000 refugees.

 

Since last April 15, clashes have continued in states in Sudan between the army and the “rapid support” forces, in which the two sides exchanged accusations of being responsible for them, after teams belonging to each went to control centers belonging to the other.
