Khartoum,May 23(Darfur24)The United Nations higher commissioner for refugees UNHCR has urged the warring parties in Sudan to ensure safety of civilians and allow humanitarian workers to move unrestricted in Sudan as humanitarian agencies expand operations meet needs of over one million IDPs and refugees..

More than 88 thousands refugees from neighbouring countries hosted by Sudan in Khartoum before eruption of the war between RSF and SAf have fled to the White Nile, Gadaref, Kassala and Wadmadan seeking safety..

UNHCR spokesperson said an estimated 5000 people flee to Egypt everyday. Over 110.000 have arrived in Egypt since eruption of the confrontation between Sudanese army SAF and the Rapid Support Forces RSF…

Egyptian red crescent society which provides assistance to refugees on the boarder, estimates that 90 percent of those crossing the border head to the Egyptian capital, Cairo and other urban areas in the North..

UNHCR spokesperson said 1500 people arrive in South Sudan everyday. Adding that is crowed with people and the resources are not sufficient to meet the needs..
