Wad Madani, Feb22(Darfur 24)The Rapid Support Forces RSF have vowed to pursue the perpetrators of horrific crimes against the residents of a number of villages in the state of Al-Jazira, saying that they “will not tolerate any practices or actions that violate the rights of citizens, whether they are its members or criminals seeking to spread chaos.”

The Rapid Support Forces’ statement comes after political and human rights forces widely condemned the crimes of murder and looting that affected a number of villages in Al-Jazeera State, which have been under the control of the Rapid Support Forces since last December.

The violations included the villages of “Gharb Al-Hasahissa, Tabat Al-Sheikh Abdul Mahmoud, Al-Uqda area, Tanub, Wad Al-Balah, Al-Farjab, and neighboring villages,” where they were subjected to horrific incursions and violations by the Rapid Support Forces, which led to the killing of a large number of citizens and the wounding of dozens. The Rapid Support Forces said in a statement on the “X” platform that they “deal with the reports and complaints received regarding the exposure of some villages on the island to violations against civilians, with the necessary seriousness and decisiveness.”

She confirmed that, upon receiving the reports, she “directed the Committee for Resolving Violence and Negative Phenomena and the Forces Command in Al-Jazira State, to move immediately to those villages and deal decisively with the unruly people and to use all means that guarantee the security and safety of citizens and to identify complaints and address them immediately,” according to the statement.

It stressed that it “will not tolerate any practices or actions that violate the rights of citizens, whether by members of the forces or criminals who seek, through these actions, to spread chaos and unrest in the safe villages of the island.”

The National Umma Party extended the violations of the Rapid Support Forces in the villages of Al-Jazira State, during which a number of civilians were killed, and demanded their withdrawal from villages and cities that are not connected to military operations.
