February 22, 2020 (ElGeneina) A rapid support forces RSF soldier was killed, two others injured after being shot by unknown gunmen in El-Geneina, West Darfur.
“A convoy of RSF vehicles was on its way from the city center to a neighborhood in the eastern part of the city, when it was attacked” A member of Rapid Support Forces told Darfur 24.
However, the convoy came across a barricade ,and when soldiers tried to remove it, gunmen fired a hail of bullets, killing one soldier at spot and seriously wounding two others.
El-Geneina city is witnessing a very serious security chaos, resulting in daily killings, looting, threats as well as intense shooting at night hours.
