The Sudan’s  embassy in Cairo has  announced that 1080 Sudanese are stranded  in the area of ​​Sebaeia at the entrance to Aswan, however, they are  refusing  to return to Cairo, and insist on continuing their journey to Sudan, at a time when the deadline set by the government to evacuate those stranded  in the border crossings ended three day ago.

According to SUNA ,the Chargé d’Affaires of the Sudanese embassy in Cairo, Khaled Al-Sheikh, said,  the embassy understands the precautions taken by the Supreme Committee to protect society from the dangers of infection and that the authorities of the two countries have opened the border crossings to evacuate the stranded for three days and then closed the crossing.

“hundreds of Sudanese have spent three days in the Asebaiya area in Aswan in bad conditions,  while the Sudanese embassy, ​​in coordination with the General Consulate in Aswan, is communicating with the Egyptian authorities to resolve the crisis of the stranded people”added the Chargé d’Affaires.
