April 14, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North, led by Abdulaziz Al-Helou, has accuse the military component of the transitional government in Sudan, of planning to ignite a war in the two regions, saying that General Shams al-Din Kabashi is the direct official responsible for overseeing and coordinating a number of military harassment and movements in the area.
SPLM-N Alhilou Spokesperson, Jaber Kamandan Kumi, said the movement monitored a number of events and facts that it said were carried out by the government in the Nuba and Fung Mountains area , to ignite sedition in the two areas(Blue Nile and South Kordofan).
According to the statement Lieutenant-General Shamsuddin Kabashi, member of the Sovereign Council and a member of the government negotiation delegation, has been the direct responsible for overseeing and coordinating these harassment and movements since the events of Khor Al-Woral in Hebila locality in October 2019.
“”Despite all these unfortunate events carried out by the government and the dangerous developments on the ground that would hinder the peace process, the SPLM renews its determination to make peace efforts successful and its commitment to continue negotiations in Juba platform,” the statement added.
