May 5, 2020 (Aldaein) Huge blasts of ammunition and weapons depot
inside the army garrison have rocked city of Al-Daein, east of Darfur. Meanwhile, it hs been reported that some citizen have been injured.
The blaze devoured four cars near the weapons and ammunition depot,
one of which was a fuel-filled tanker, and also destroyed a number of
rooms that were empty of residents at the time of the explosion.
However, Sources inside the army garrison, which is located south of
the city of Al-Daein, said that the causes of the explosion, which
occurred at about three in the morning, are still unknown.
Residents of the city of El-Daein and the neighboring villages
experienced terrifying moments, as the explosions were very strong.
“We spent the hours of the explosion lying on the floor, under beds,”
one resident said.
