May 16, 2020 (Al -Daein) The Sudanese Doctors Association has
announced the passing away of Dr. Osama Awad Al-Qadi, Consultant,
Obstetrics and Gynecology, Al-Daein Teaching Hospital.
The Association said Dr. Osama died on Friday from Coronavirus.
He was the second doctor to die from coronavirus in Darfur, after the
death of Dr. Abubakar Ahmed Adam at El-Genaina Teaching Hospital two
days ago.
Sudan’s ministry of health said on Thursday that coronavirus cases in
Darfur had reached 33.
Meanwhile, Darfur24 reporter said 15 doctors in El-Geneina have been
quarantined for contacting their colleague who passed away a couple of
days ago.
