July 22, 2020 (Elfashir) A high-level government delegation arrived in El Fasher, North Darfur, on Wednesday for a three-day visit.

The visit comes against the background of the recent attack on unarmed protesters in Kabkabiya and Kutum by armed men, in which 9 people were killed and 11 others were seriously injured.

The delegation included a member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, Minister of Endowments Nasruddin Mufreh, Deputy Director General of the Police Forces, Deputy Director of General  Intelligence and second commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Abd al-Rahim Daglo, alongside representatives of Forces for  Freedom and Change Ismail al-Taj and Taha Othman Ishaq.

Upon arrival at Al-Fashir international airport, the delegation immediately  proceeded to the teaching hospital to inspect the victims of Fataburno attack.

Head of the delegation, Ibrahim Jaber, said that the visit comes with a view to standing in the field on the overall general conditions in the state, following the incidents in  Kutum and Fataburno area , in
which 9 people were killed.
