The head of Sudan liberation movement , Abdul Wahid Nur , met with the president of South Sudan Salva Kiir on Thursday in the capital of South sudan, juba.
During the two delegations’ meeting which lasted for several hours , Abul wahid movement expressed its strong desire to achieve peace in Sudan.
The movement’s delegation which is currently visiting South Sudan these days – emphasized the importance of the role played by South Sudan and President Salva Kiir Mayardit in achieving a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace in Sudan.
The movement’s delegation said in a statement following its meeting with the President of the State of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit on Thursday in Juba that its peace initiative is not related at all to the partial agreement signed recently in Juba between Sudan’s transitional government and some armed struggle movements.
