29.11.2021 (El Geneina )The Epidemiology Department of the Ministry of Health, West Darfur State, revealed that 48 cases of covid19 were recorded in two weeks in El Geneina.
Speaking to darfur24, Director of Epidemiology Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khadija Al-Taher, said the city of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State, is witnessing a frightening rise in cases of Corona virus.
She added, “within two weeks, from November 11 to 27, the State ministry of health recorded 48 cases”
Khadija warned that the state does not have an isolation center after the previous isolation center became a shelter for the displaced people , calling on the govt to provide more medicines.
