El-fashir March 22, (Darfur24)The Child Court in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, sentenced on Tuesday the man accused of sexually harassing the Quranic school kids in El-Fashir to 15 years in prison and a fine of 10 million pounds .
The court, in its session today, Tuesday, headed by Judge Muntasir Abdel Wahab Qayyim, ruled that the victims should be sent to a Social Welfare Center to receive psychosocial support.
Last February, the North Darfur authorities arrested one of the elders of the Holy Qur’an memorization School in the Umbro area, on the background of information that he had raped 10 children of the retreat and mutilated their genitals.
