El-Daein May 8(Darfur24) The Deputy Governor of Darfur, Dr. Muhammad Issa Aliu, denied the killing of a citizen by gunfire between Rizeigat gunmen and others from the Ma’alia tribe in East Darfur.
The Deputy Governor of Darfur, Muhammad Issa Aliu, told Darfur 24 that what was being circulated was inaccurate information, and confirmed the occurrence of a dispute between members of the Rizeigat tribe and others from the Ma’alia tribe over agricultural lands in the al-Khatma area, which ended with the burning of one of the houses, but wise intervention stopped the conflict from developing into a clash.
