December 9, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s ministry of health recorded 213 new covid-19 cases on Sunday, raising the number of infections to 20 thousand since the pandemic first emerged in Sudan.
The ministry confirmed 6 deaths in the same report, including 4 in Khartoum and one in Al Jazeera and Gedaref, lifting the total death toll to 1,307. It also announced 160 recoveries, bringing the number of people recovering since the virus entered the country last March to 11,344.
