El Fasher, March 11(Darfur24)Disagreements have worsened within the Sudan Liberation Forces group, led by dismissed Sovereignty Council member Al-Taher Hajar, amid expectations of an imminent split in the armed organization.

And it comes back

The differences are mainly due to the differing positions of the organization’s leaders regarding the war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, as some adhere to the necessity of fighting alongside the former, while Al-Taher Hajar and other leaders adhere to neutrality.

Identical sources told “Darfur 24” that Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Yaqoub Amer, famous for “sending” the most famous weapons in the face of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the group, Lieutenant General Abboud Adam, during a stormy meeting that brought them together with the head of the organization at his residence near the Zamzam camp for displaced people in El Fasher, North State. Darfur.

She indicated that the head of the assembly, Al-Tahir Hajar, requested forces to secure a visit he intended to make to the city of Nyala in South Darfur state, which is under the control of the Rapid Support Forces, but the Deputy Commander-in-Chief objected to the visit.

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief told Al-Taher Hajar, at the meeting, that “we do not have a force to go to a city controlled by the Rapid Support Forces.” Which prompted “Irsal” to point out a weapon in Abboud’s face.

Brigadier General Ersal is considered a close associate of the head of the armed organization, Al-Taher Hajar.

The sources who spoke to “Darfur 24” suggested that Al-Tahir Hajar decided to travel to Nyala due to the failure of his mission in El-Fasher to convince the armed movements of the need to remain neutral.

They expected an increase in the intensity of the conflict between Al-Taher Hajar’s group and the other group that announced its departure from neutrality and its support for the army, which is led by Abdullah Janna and Aboud Adam Khater.

Most of the Rally’s forces announced their support for Lieutenant General Abdullah Janna, who leads the joint forces of the armed movements, while standing alongside Al-Taher Hajar are his personal guards.

At the meeting, a number of the group’s leaders warned of the consequences of collusion with the Rapid Support Forces, amid expectations that they would overthrow Al-Taher Hajar from his position, which would mean a split in the organization.

Al-Tahir Hajar and the head of the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Assembly, Al-Hadi Idris, adhere to being neutral in the current conflict, while the Sudan Liberation Movement, led by Minni Arko Minawi, and the Justice and Equality Movement, headed by Jibril Ibrahim, announced their participation in the fight alongside the army against the Rapid Support Forces.
