One person was killed and five others were wounded, after clashes ,over ownership of agricultural land in the village of Abudlik, 70 km southeast of El Fasher, North Darfur.
In a telephonic conversation, Mayor of Abodlik area, Ibrahim Mahdi, told Darfur 24 that clashes with hands and sticks took place on Thursday evening in a farm, 5 km south of the area, resulted in the
killing of one person and wounding 5 others.
“The area is still witnessing, as of Friday morning, escalating security tensions at the background of the incident, and we are calling on the state and central government to urgently intervene”
the Mayor concluded.
