The steering committee of South Darfur teachers union said its teachers were to stage Stoppage on March 17, 18, 24 and 25 over what it described as the failure of the Federal and State Ministry of Finance to pay dues of teachers in South Darfur.
The teachers union said in a statement that if the teachers demands were not met, they would go on an open strike starting March 28 .
